A MAN has been fined more than £300 and had points added to his licence after speeding on the A12.
Garth Lee Powell, 39, of King Georges Avenue, Dovercourt, was caught travelling at 68 mph with his Ford Transit, with the legal limit for that class of vehicle being 60mph.
The offence took place on August 7 at Capel St Mary.
It was proved at Ipswich Court House under the single justice procedure.
Powell was fined £220 and must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.
His driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.
