TRAFFIC came to a halt on a busy main road following an incident in Mistley.
Harwich Road between Lawford and Harwich was blocked near School Lane after a lorry broke down on a railway bridge on Wednesday afternoon.
As a result queues of motorists found themselves at a standstill in both directions until the incident was eventually cleared.
