COMMUTERS have been warned of disruption ahead of rush hour after a tree fell on a train line.

Essex train operator Greater Anglia said on the social media platform X a tree fell and damaged overhead wires between Mistley and Wrabness, meaning trains aren't able to run on the Harwich line.

"Greater Anglia and Network Rail are sorry if your journey has been affected by this disruption," it said.

A further update says accessible replacement buses will be running between Manningtree and Harwich Town.

It comes after high winds battered the county as Storm Isha hit yesterday.
