POLICE have seized a car after a driver was found to be driving it without insurance.
An officer driving an unmarked police car stopped the Toyota shortly before 6pm on Tuesday in Military Road, Colchester.
The 4x4 vehicle was then loaded onto a truck and taken away from the scene.
Essex Police confirmed to the Gazette no pursuit was involved and the Toyota was not listed as stolen.
A driver whose vehicle is seized by police is legally required to attend the recovery operator’s pound with seven days.
