LIVE performances from some of the world’s most famous venues are to broadcast to the quiet north Essex rural village.
The broadcasts have been arranged by Dedham Films.
Residents will be able to enjoy productions, including the sell-out show War Horse, without leaving the village.
The performance will be screened live from the London venues to the Assembly Rooms in Dedham High Street.
The Assembly Rooms, which has a capacity of 110 seats, has become a popular venue for the monthly screenings of blockbuster films.
Jax Horswill, of Dedham Films, said: “As a result, we wanted to investigate whether it would be possible for us to extend the service we offer by screening live broadcasts of opera, ballet and plays.”
