AWARD-WINNING celebrity chef Jean Christophe Novelli shows wannabe cooks the tricks of the trade at a two-day food festival this weekend.
The This Morning show regular is giving demonstrations on both days of Food For Thorpe, in Thorpe-le-Soken.
He takes to the stage at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, and tickets cost £7.50.
Magician Michael J Fitch is hosting the weekend, with shows on Saturday and Sunday.
And Dolly Parton tribute Kelly O'Brien is performing on Saturday night, with tickets priced £10.
There are also stalls selling specialist beers, local farmhouse produce and street foods, as well as Essex’s finest ingredients, and a children's area, vintage fair, arts and craft activities, and a vintage car display.
The festival is being staged in five acres of picturesque countryside by Golden Lane, from 10am-6pm on both days.
