ONE of the best tribute bands out there soar back into Clacton with their homage to legendary country rockers the Eagles.

Talon have been wowing fans for almost two decades with their award winning ‘Best of Eagles’ tour.

Now they are back with a brand new production, packed with Don Henley and Co's greatest hits.

The show is split into two halves, opening with a laid-back vibe and in-depth look at the early Eagles roots before visiting the brilliant Hell Freezes Over and going right through to the critically acclaimed Long Road Out of Eden.

The second half arrives in style with a complete change of mood and pace, featuring those classic tracks from their timeless back catalogue, including Hotel California, Lyin’ Eyes, Take It Easy, Desperado, Take It To The Limit and Life In The Fast Lane.

Don Henley insisted the Eagles were no more after founder member and guitarist Glenn Frey died earlier this year.

But last week surviving members got together at the Grammy's and hinted that a reunion could be on the cards if Frey's son replaced his late father.

Back in the UK, Talon has become a brand name in its own right – the band's mission to faithfully re-create the music of the Eagles with "honesty, respect and reverence”.

The new show pays tribute to Glenn Frey.

Talon co-founder Chris Lloyd said: "We are of course fully aware, as recent tragic events have clearly illustrated that absolutely nothing is forever, however, Talon will continue to follow our mission statement for as long as possible.

"We already have one eye on our 20th anniversary but before then we will cherish every moment of the Complete History Tour 2016 and look forward to a brand new Best of Eagles show in which we will pay tribute to the man who, in 1970, made the pilgrimage to the west coast of America to make his mark in the music industry and who would ultimately build a dynasty."

Talon are at Clacton's West Cliff Theatre this Friday at 7.30pm.***OCT07*** Tickets are £21 (£20 over-60s) from the box office on 01255 433344.
