An tantalising glimpse of five of the very best rock legends on stage together is coming to Rhyl this weekend.

For those who couldn't shake the "what if?" of seeing 80s supergroup The Traveling Wilburys perform live together, Paul Hopkins as the iconic Roy Orbison will lead the very best tributes to Tom Petty, Beatle George Harrison, ELO's Jeff Lynne and, of course, Bob Dylan to The Pavilion Theatre.

After the death of Orbison in 1988, the world was denied the opportunity to witness the jaw dropping combined talent and the Traveling Wilburys were no more before playing a single note together on stage.

The timing simply couldn’t be better to appreciate what could have been, particularly after the untimely death of Tom Petty last October -and Harrison in 2001 - fans can finally pay their respects as the band's music is brought to life.

With that in mind, band leader Hopkins as The “Big O” has banded together with four mega talented singers, musicians and superfans - Richard Gibson as Lynne, Owen Jones as Petty, Aubrey Robinson as Dylan and Matt Gaffiney as Harrison - to form this incredible tribute.

The show will celebrate the genius musicality that rocketed Grammy their award winning album The Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1 album to sell more than five million copies worldwide with uncanny vocal performances for the closest thing to the tour that never was.

Don't miss the chance to catch Big O and The Wilburys when they appear at the Pavilion Theatre, Rhyl on Saturday, February 24 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £21 with concessions, to book call the box office on 01745 330000 or book online at rhylpavilion.co.uk.
