VIRTUOSO guitarist Eduardo Niebla kicks off Frinton Summer Theatre this Sunday.

He is taking time off from recording a new album to perform at the Lock and Barrel in Connaught Avenue.

The Eduardo Niebla Experience also includes Matthew Robinson on guitar and Dharmesh Parmar on Indian table.

They fuse flamenco gypsy jazz with a wonderful array of classical and Indian colours.

It's the third year of FST Music Nights and the headliners are supported by The Jazz Slayers who open at 8pm.

The Summer Theatre gets underway on Tuesday night with Dial M For Murder.

Fredrick Knott's masterful story of suspense and treachery was famously made into a classic film by Hitchcock and never fails to thrill on the stage.

Tony Wendice (Cary Crankson) has married wife Margot for her money and now plans to do away with her for the same reason.

He arranges the perfect murder, blackmailing a criminal he used to know into strangling her while organising an unshakeable alibi.

What can go wrong? Probably everything.

The cast also includes Izabella Urbanowicz, Julian Mack, Cary Crankson, Sam Donnelly and Kieron Jecchinis.

Tickets are £14.50-£17.50 (£12-£14 Saturday matinee) from the box office or at frintonsummertheatre.org.

Shows start at 7.30pm and run until July 16.

Tickets for the Eduardo Niebla Experience are £14 and also available from the Lock and Barrel.
