THE heat of Havana comes to the West Cliff Theatre as Clacton Musical Theatre Society stages Barry Manilow's Copacabana.
Based in the Seventies' hit song, the musical charts Lola's tragic downfall from top showgirl to broken barfly after love of her life Tony was shot dead by the murderous Rico 30 years earlier.
The musical is directed by Lucy Weaver, with musical director Franky Garland and choreographer Jennifer Richardson.
Copacabana runs until Saturday, with shows at 7.30pm and a 2.30pm Saturday matinee.
