Ramsey: Help needed
VOLUNTEERS have been urgently called on to help at a memorial hall.
Liz Barringer, a parish council representative for Ramsey War Memorial Hall, said there were only three people at Wednesday night's annual meeting.
She said: "The ahll really needs a lot more people.
"We want to do more exciting things in the hall and bring the village back to life with the hall."
Ideally the hall needs 12 volunteers, who could attend meetings once every six to eight weeks.
Members of the hall committee have to be over 18 years old and have an interest in improving the hall but do not need to be from Parkeston.
For more information about how to volunteer and what it inlcudes contact Liz Barringer on 01255 880480 or Marion Bishop on 01255 880421
