Raiders steal jewellery and computer equipment from Lawford home

RAIDERS stole jewellery and computer equipment from a home in Lawford.
Burglars smashed their way in through a glass door on the house in School Lane at 5pm on Tuesday.
They stole a laptop, television and jewellery.
Investigating Officer, Pc Mark Peacock, said the thieves fled across a field after being disturbed by the family returning home.
The burglars then sped off in a dark people carrier and headed towards Colchester.
Anyone with information should call Colchester Police Station on 101.
