Tributes paid to popular barman
A SOCIAL club has paid tribute to its long serving barman who died last week.
United Services bar tender Dave Marks, of Station Road, Harwich, lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday November 13, aged 59.
Friends described him as one of the nicest men they knew. He worked at the social club in Barrack Lane for 37 years as a barman working his way up to head steward before taking early retirement.
His funeral will take place at Weeley Crematorium on Wednesday November 28 at 12.30pm with the wake taking place at the United Services Club Harwich.
