CHANCELLOR George Osborne’s Autumn Statement delivered good news for small businesses, rural areas, and motorists according to Harwich and North Essex MP Bernard Jenkin.
The Chancellor delivered his pre-budget report, the Autumn Statement, on Wednesday.
Mr Jenkin welcomed The Chancellor scrapping the 3p rise in fuel duty saying the move “is good for rural businesses and the motorist.”
Mr Jenkin added that small businesses would benefit from full tax relief on investment in their business from the rise in capital allowance for plant and machinery from £25,000 per year to £250,000 per year.
