Parents unhappy with standard of teaching, according to Harwich and Manningtree Standard poll

IN the latest reader poll, only 14 per cent of parents said they are happy with the standard of teaching their children receive.
A further 51 per cent of readers said Ofsted is not pushing for unrealistic standards and children’s education should not be compromised.
In the poll, 29 per cent said Ofsted expects too much of teachers and seven per cent said they did not know.
