A CRAFT shop owner has said her newly opened businesses will help the high street make a comeback.
Helen Luck, 56, opened Lovely Little Bits, a craft and tea shop, in Church Street, Harwich, three weeks ago.
Despite high streets across the country reeling from the recession, Helen said her business would give Harwich a boost.
She said: “I live in Old Harwich and it’s a lovely little community and in the summer there will be lots of tourists about.
“I think the high street is making a comeback and good things are starting to happen.
“When people are walking around on a Sunday afternoon there hasn’t been anywhere for people to sit and have a cup of tea and to look at bits and pieces.
“Harwich needs something to happen to it to help it start to grow again so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.”
