A PENSIONER is pleading for her lost engagement to be returned.
Sheila Wooden, 79, of Frobisher Road, Dovercourt, said she lost her 55-year-old ring between 10am and 11am on December 15.
She had visited the Morrisons store in Parkeston and Nationwide Building Society in Dovercourt High Street.
The ring contains a sapphire surrounded by diamonds.
She said: “I have searched the house and rubbish bins completely.
“I’m devastated.
“I have had it a long time so it certainly means quite a lot.”
