Beth's nan tunes in for ice show
A DOTING grandmother was watching closely as her gymnast grandaughter took to the ice on ITVs popular skating show.
Thelma Tweddle, from Lawford, said she tuned in to watch Dancing on Ice on Sunday January 6 to see grandaughter and Olympic medal winner Beth on her first night.
“I thought she did really well,” Thelma, aged 85, said.
“It’s a completely different thing to do gymnastics.
“She has to work on the dancing side for this, but I think she did very well."
