Manningtree women offered free cancer screening

THOUSANDS of women are being urged to take up free screening for breast cancer.
About 3000 women from Manningtree and the surrounding area will be invited to the mobile screening unit at the Fiveways Superstore in Riverside Avenue East, Lawford.
The screenings begin on January 23 and last until the end of March.
Anyone wanting more information can call Anne Pugh, breast screening nurse, on 01206 744645.
Women over 73 can make their own appointment for breast screening by calling the screening office on 01206 744749.
