HEADTEACHERS in Harwich and Manningtree say exam results tables show school’s improvement.
Statistics were released on this morning showing schools’ performances in GCSE and A levels.
Harwich and Dovercourt High School Headteacher Nigel Mountford said this year’s results were a record for the school.
He said: “The movement from being low down in the Local Authority to mid point over the last few years is a testament to the hard work of both students and staff.”
Deborah Hollister, Headteacher of Manningtree High School said some results were not representative because of contested English GCSE results.
But she added that A*-C grades were the highest the school has ever achieved.
She said: “We are delighted at this continuing year on year improvement.”
