A MEMORIAL service will mark the 60th anniversary of the 1953 flood in Harwich.
All members of the public, especially those affected by the disaster, are invited to attend St Nicholas's Church in Harwich at 11am on Friday, February 1.
Within the service there will be a 15 minute audio presentation showing images of Harwich during the flood with an accompanying narration.
Afterwards Rev Peter Mann will formally dedicate the recently upgraded flood memorial garden in Wellington Street, which everyone is also welcome to attend.
