School children welcomed to the world of theatre
SCHOOL children went behind the scenes to discover the inner workings of a theatre production.
Youngsters from Spring Meadow Primary School’s Shark and Puffin classes took a tour of Clacton’s Princes Theatre on Wednesday and Thursday, January 23 and 24.
They saw how lighting and sound systems worked and took part in a question and answer sessions.
It was part of the theatre’s on-going programme aimed at involving the community in its facilities and activities.
Emma Donegan, Year three and four leader from Spring Meadow Primary, said all the children enjoyed the experience.
