A MOUNTAIN bike and model cars have been stolen in a raid.

Burglars broke in to a house in Hordle Street, Dovercourt, sometime between 2pm on Monday, February 4 and 4.15pm on Wednesday, February 6.

A ladies pink Muddy Fox bicycle and three model cars were taken.

Anyone with information should call Dc Jo Mangham at Clacton police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Wonder what the person does to get this reported and the police making an appeal in the press. Both of my sons bikes were stolen recently (the second time in two years !!) including my eldests who used all of his savings from his grandparents presents to him over 10 years to buy his bike. Apart from getting a crime number and a letter I have not even had a phone call from the police asking for further details of the bikes....
