A CRASH victim has called out for a roundabout to replace the dangerous junction he crashed on.

Sean Mills, 27, of Wick Lane, Dovercourt, was driving to work in on the Colchester-bound A120 when his car collided with another crossing the carriageway last Friday, February 1.

The two spun around into the central reservation and an emergency operation was carried out to cut a woman driver out of her car.

Sean, who is also captain of Harwich Rugby Club, will not be able to play for the team for a few weeks and his car has been written off.

He was in the car with his partner and both have suffered muscle damage to their neck, back and chest.

He said he feels lucky to have come from the accident relatively unscathed.

“I think the easiest thing is to put a roundabout in there to take the risk away from people.

“If there had been a roundabout there the worst case would be a crash at five or 10 miles per hour, rather than a crash at 55 miles per hour.
