THE SHOCKING danger of an A120 crossing could be raised in Parliament in an attempt to make it safe.

Bernard Jenkin, MP for Harwich and North Essex, said he is “exasperated” by the hazardous A120, which was the scene of two car crashes in three hours on February 1.

Mr Jenkin rushed to the Hare Green junction to give his support to victims and emergency services.

“I am absolutely convinced we need to have a speed restriction enforced by speed camera before we get a roundabout," he said.

“The junction as it stands is unacceptable.

“We will get a meeting with the minister and if necessary I will appeal for a debate in the House of Commons. It is only a matter of time before someone else is killed.”
