What's your job?
3:00pm Sunday 3rd March 2013 in News
To mark National Careers Week from March 4 to 8 Chief Reporter Lorraine Price looks at some of the jobs our readers do.
Richard Ball
THE bread and butter of Richard Ball’s work is quite literally that.
He is a baker.
But he is no ordinary baker as he works for Mistley based food ingredients company, Edme.
When his colleagues are working with a possible new client it is Richard that has to bake up a batch of experimental products to wet their appetite for the malts and grains the company creates.
Terry Fay
WHEN Terry Fay left school, without really having the option of further education, he never dreamed he would one day own his own business.
But three years ago, the 40 year old started up his own freight forwarding company, Stour Valley Freight, with former colleague Kevin Morsley.
The pair work with clients across Europe organising lorry/rail/ferry companies, to bring stock such as wine from warehouses abroad to clients in England.
Sue Radford
AT SCHOOL Sue Radford would always be trying to get out of doing PE classes.
But now she is a “Zumba nannie”.
The 50-year-old works during the day at the Original Factory Shop in Dovercourt town centre, but in the evening she is a dance fitness teacher.
