Trespass warning after man spotted in garden

A SAFETY warning has been issued to residents after trespassers were seen in back gardens.

Andii Primmer, 16, saw an intruder in her back garden in Langley Close, Dovercourt between 3 and 4am on Thursday morning, February 21.

She was downstairs looking after her disabled mum, Monica, when she saw someone, who looked like a man, walk past the back window.

“I was so scared and five minutes later someone kicked the front door - it shook me a lot,” Andii said.

“I’m only 16 I don’t feel like I should be feeling unsafe in my home.”

Andii, who is a hairdressing student at the Colchester Institute, said her mum someone jump over the fence into their garden at the same time on Sunday morning, February 24. After warning her neighbours, Andii found she was not the only one.

Andii also warned her neighbours to make sure their doors and windows are locked and their belongings are secure.
