7:30am Monday 4th March 2013 in News By Helen Barnett
BURGLARS are at large in Dovercourt.
Police are on the lookout for crooks who have targeted five homes in less than two weeks.
Raiders stole a wallet from a home in Ingestre Street, Harwich, on Wednesday, February 27 and striked twice on Saturday, February 23. Thieves took laptops and whisky from a home in Ainger Road, Dovercourt, and jewellery and cash from a house in Oakley Road.
An attempt to break in to a home in High Street, Dovercourt, followed a burglary to a property in St Denis Close.
Burglaries have happened during the day and have largely broken in through back and patio doors.
Police have put on extra patrols and have urged residents to act on suspicious activity.
