A CYCLING charity has asked a roads boss to take cyclists into consideration if he decides to change a danger junction.

Will Bramhill, chairman of Colchester Cycling Campaign, said the Hare Green junction at the A120 creates a barrier through Tendring for cyclists.

He has asked that CCC is included as a stakeholder for any proposals the agency makes.

The Highways Agency is bringing forward a safety audit at the junction as a matter of urgency, it was announced last week. It will be completed before a meeting with Tendring Council on Friday, March 8, when the council and emergency services will see if any other safety measures can be taken at the junction.
