Council to repeat successful recycling bid

A SUCCESSFUL initiative that encouraged residents to recycle their broken and unwanted electrical goods is to be repeated.
People will be invited to dispose of their electrical items in the Manningtree Co-Op car park on March 20.
In January a similar event in Clacton saw residents recycle more than 800kg of electrical waste.
Tendring District Council’s Environmental Officers will be joined by Essex County Council and its waste managment bus in the Co-Op carpark from 10am to 3pm.
