Children picked to star in book
PRIMARY school pupils have been published in an international children’s book.
Twelve pupils at Spring Meadow Primary School have been selected to appear in a book after writing winning short stories.
The year two children, aged six and seven, were given pictures of monsters, adventures and fairytales and wrote their own versions of what was going on.
Claire Lawrence, who teachers year two at the school in Pound Farm Drive, Dovercourt, said: “We have some budding writers in the class but I didn’t realise they would be against children worldwide. I am so proud of them, it’s brilliant."
