A CHARITY hiker dropped in on Harwich on his way to trekking an astonishing 7,900 miles across the British Isles.

Andy Peddle may be 70 but that’s not getting in the way of his epic journey.

He started last May in the Shetland Isles.

Since then he’s clocked up 4,370 miles in a bid to visit all 930 Salvation Army citadels, shops and shelters in the country.
