More 20mph zones on the way?

MORE 20mph speed limits can be put forward, say County Hall bosses.
Essex County Council has completed a review of its speed management policy and is to provide further support for lower speed limits.
Local highways panels can now recommend specific schemes to be implemented, including new 20mph zones on local roads and outside schools.
The speed limit review was announced last year in response to public concerns around speed limits and road safety.
