Youth shelter given the go-ahead
3:00pm Saturday 17th August 2013 in News
YOUNGSTERS will soon have a new place to meet after a youth shelter was given the go-ahead.
Tendring Council has approved plans for the £9,000 shelter on disused land at the BT compound, in Riverside Avenue East.
The Three Parishes Trust applied for permission to install the structure.
One of the directors of the trust, Lee Lay-Flurrie, said: “We have worked on it for a long time –a really long time.
“It has been over two years, so we are absolutely delighted we have got planning permission."
