Improved internet speed set for county
12:00pm Tuesday 17th September 2013 in News
SUPERFAST broadband should be available to most residents by 2015.
The improved service should roll out to Harwich and Dovercourt to allow for a much quicker internet service at a speed of more than 24 megabits per second.
This will increase the speed of using the internet when several users are online at once, playing games or watching videos.
Essex County Council is driving the Superfast Essex Broadband Project that will cost £13 million across the county to install.
