Nursery students to raise money in memory of former Councillor
5:30pm Sunday 15th September 2013 in News
TODDLERS will be paying a week-long tribute to a much-loved figure who died earlier this year.
Members of Noah’s Nursery in Harwich will be taking part in an obstacle course, trampolining and hand printing with sponsorship going to Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of Les Double from September 23.
As well as being a former mayor, town and district councillor, Mr Double launched Harwich Connexions, the charity that supports Noah’s Nursery.
He also laid the first brick on the pre-school building in Barrack Lane when it was being built in 2002.
