Extra month to have say over controversial streetlight proposals in Tendring
10:06am Wednesday 25th September 2013 in News
THE deadline for people to have their say on controversial plans to switch off streetlights in Tendring has been extended.
A consultation exercise by County Hall was due to end this Friday.
The deadline has now been put back a month after Tendring Council bosses pleaded for more time.
Almost three quarters of the district's lights will be switched off between midnight and 5am from January 1 if the proposals get the go-ahead.
