Mum appeals for other parents’ support to set up school

A MUM has unveiled her plans to provide a new school for autistic children.
Donna Moore, of Dovercourt, wants to provide parents across Tendring with an alternative education route if their children are on the autistic spectrum.
Her son Stephen, 13, was diagnosed with the condition 18 months ago after an eight year battle.
Mrs Moore, 41, has been working with the National Autistic Society, who she hopes will later sponsor the project.
She said: "“There are fantastic schools in the area for children with complex needs, however this school would look to concentrate of the high functioning and Aspergers children who are unable to cope in the larger mainstream system.”
Mrs Moore has set up a Facebook page called with Tendring Peninsula School. Those interested in the scheme can contact Donna at firstname.lastname@example.org.
