MEMBERS of the public are being offered the chance to commemorate someone special as part of St Helena Hospice’s Tree of Memories appeal.
In return for a donation to the hospice, supporters will receive their personalised message on a decorative tag which will then be hung on the tree at Myland Hall in Colchester.
The tree will be on display from Monday December 16 until Friday January 10 with a special ceremony on Thursday December 19 at 6.30pm at the Joan Tomkins Centre in Barncroft Close, Colchester.
There will also be a service at St Nicholas’ Church in Harwich on December 13.
