Harwich Sing choir to perform The Light Vessel
A SPECIALLY composed piece of music get its world premiere in Harwich tomorrow.
Acclaimed composer Trevor Watt has written The Light Vessel, which will be performed by community choir Harwich Sing, pictured above.
The work is about Harwich’s lightship and will be performed by the 120-strong choir, accompanied by Colchester Brass Band.
The words were penned by poet Kay Syrad.
The concert is at St Nicholas’ Church from 7.30pm, tickets cost £5 and under fives are free.
