BUDDING young photographers have been crowned after winning a competition.
The Young Photographer Competition was open to the students at all local primary and senior schools.
Awards for their photographic talents were handed out by the Manningtree Rotary Club at The Hub.
President Margaret Matthews presented the awards. The rotary club now hope to use the photos to produce a calendar to raise money for charity.
The overall winner was 11-year-old Benjamin Miles and his photo will appear on the calendar front.
The two runners-up were Celtic Meredith, aged 9, and Harrison Thomas, aged 13.
Each took photos of wildlife or iconic landscapes in the area.
