ONLOOKERS did a double-take after seeing man-sized bees planting trees in Dovercourt

The trees have been planted along The Hangings as part of National Tree Week.

Harwich Peninsular Friends of the Earth have been planting the trees as part of their campaign to save and renew the Hangings.

Seven types of tree were planted and the rest of the project will be completed in the Spring.

This will see 420 trees planted. The trees were donated by the Woodland Trust.
