A CHRISTMAS market organiser has said this year’s event will be bigger and better than last year.
Jenine Collier, chairman of the Manningtree Chamber of Commerce, who is planning Manningtree’s Magical Christmas event, said more than 60 stalls had signed up to take part this weekend.
Entertainment will included a fire dancer, street magic, a flash mob and brass bands and choirs.
Santa will also be arriving accompanied by the Harwich Royal British Legion band before making his way to his grotto in The Crown pub.
More than 60 stalls will be serving festive food and fayre.
The Saturday market stall holders will also be on hand all day.
Mrs Collier said: “Each year it gets better and better.
“From what I have been led to believe this is the biggest event ever held in Manningtree."
It will take place on Saturday from 2pm to 6pm.
