PLAYING fields could be transformed into a new town football club with members' bar and function room, it has been revealed.
Harwich and Parkeston Football Club has been in talks with Tendring Council about a new location for the club.
And land near Low Road or the swimming pool have been revealed as top options for the move.
Club chairman Tony Armstrong said: "We have held talks with Tendring Council with a view to looking at options available in the Tendring area with a view to relocating the football club.
"We will discuss what facilities we would like to see on a new location and the council looks to see if there are any viable places which are available."
