More than 30 young volunteers were presented with awards to mark their outstanding success in helping others in 2013.
Members of Teen Talk who are involved in Harwich Inspired Youth Action (HIYA), the family forum Harwich Helpers and those who helped organise the Harwich Hoody Festival picked up prizes.
Among those giving our the awards were mayor Dave McLeod, Teen Talk chairman Jon Doddman, committee member Judith Skargon and members of the Harwich and Dovercourt Rotary club.
Teen Talk manager Hayley Lovett said: “The evening was a fantastic opportunity to congratulate young people and families for their achievements over the past year and to thank them for the hard work and dedication they have shown.
“We wouldn’t be able to achieve as much as we do at Teen talk without their support.”
