A MOTHER has hit out at a bus company for making children feel “crowded” and “uncomfortable” while travelling to school.
Elena Klenova’s son Michael catches the 103 bus from his home in Wrabness to Manningtree High school.
Ms Klenova says the bus, which is a public service, is often late and a single decker put on in the afternoon leaves children having to stand up due to the number catching the bus.
Ms Klenova, a Professor of Molecular Oncology at Essex University, said: “The bus is very late. A lot of children are using it on a regular basis including my son.
“Recently they started sending single decker buses instead of double decker buses in the morning and afternoon."
A spokesman for First said: “We are aware of the current issues our passengers have been experiencing on our 103/104 service and we're working hard to resolve them."
