COMMUNITY spirit is being called on to help refurbish a tired public hall in Dovercourt.
The Park Pavilion in Barrack Lane, home to various charity groups and clubs, is set to receive a grant for new tables and chairs.
And to co-inside with the arrival of the new £ 9,000 worth of furniture, manager Dale Cheesman is calling for volunteers to come forward and spruce up the interior decoration.
The Community Association, which runs the pavilion as well as Long Meadows Community Centre, is callong for volunteers, dust sheets, painting equipment, black gloss and silk white emulsion for the redecorating.
Anyone able to offer anything towards the refurbishment of the hall, which can house 250 people, is asked to call Mrs Dale Cheesman at the Park Pavilion on 01255 507770.
