THE last great thing to come out of Flatford was John Constable’s painting, the Haywain.
But soon the little hamlet, just outside East Bergholt, could have another claim to fame in singer/songwriter Oliver Daldry.
Exciting times certainly lie ahead for the 19-year-old, who already has a management deal and is about to start working with Nick Atkinson, the guy who helped co-write Gabrielle Aplin’s debut album.
“It’s been a huge year of development,” he said.
“I watched a video of me playing at the beginning of 2013 and thought ‘wow, I wasn’t very good at all’ but I’ve worked so hard gigging and writing that I’m finally seeing some results.”
