Call for action on danger potholes
A COUNCILLOR has called for emergency action to be taken over potholes littering Harwich and Dovercourt’s main roads.
Harwich county councillor Ivan Henderson fears an accident may be caused by people swerving to avoid the holes.
Mr Henderson said: “ I believe there should be emergency repairs. These sites should be treated as a priority."
An Essex Highways engineer said: “We are aware of some defects in these roads and they are scheduled to be repaired."
