Knees up for mayoress appeal
A CHARITY knees up is being held in Harwich for the Mayoress Appeal.
The Cockney Night has been organised by Harwich mayoress Dee King to raise cash for her chosen charities.
Held at the United Services Club in Barrack Lane on Saturday March 1 there will be a fish and chip supper as well as dancing and entertainment by Cockney Kid Baz.
The event at 7.30pm is £7 per ticket, which are available on 01255 318825.
Proceeds from the mayoress appeal will be split between Harwich and District Community Association, Salvation Army, Harwich and Dovercourt Judo Club and Dovercourt Stroke Club.
